rnA full remodeling of the treatment plant at the Neuquén Capital Industrial Park was carried out. With this remodeling, the plant was conditioned to treat waste from an equivalent of 30,000 inhabitants. The works included:
- Modification of the inlet chambers, reconditioning of the screening system.
- Replacement of measuring weirs at the grit chamber.
- Installation of new pumps in the pumping well.
- Refurbishment of the grease trap.
- Installation of a new scraper bridge and refurbishment of the Imhoff tank.
- Conditioning of the pre-aeration chamber.
- Installation of submerged aerators (consisting of a submersible pump and a venturi-type ejector) in the biological reactor.
- Installation of a scraper bridge in the secondary clarifier, along with the replacement of out-of-service water weirs with new ones.
- Installation of UV disinfection equipment.
- Construction of the outflow system to discharge the treated effluent into the Neuquén River.
